For those of you who didn't get to know Gerd, he was a prolific player, one of all time in Germany football especially when he was playing for buyern Munchen and he made sure to set a record that has been recently broken by Robert lewandoski of netting more goals per season and now we rank him as second from Robert lewandoski.
Gerd Muller has passed away aged 75.
The striker scored 68 goals in 62 appearances for West Germany, including the winning goal in the 1974 World Cup final as they defeated Netherlands 2-1 in Munich.
Muller won the Golden Boot for netting 10 goals at the 1970 World Cup and scored a record 365 goals in 427 Bundesliga games and 66 goals in 74 European matches during his 15 years at Bayern.
Apart from playing football, Gerd muller did alot of contributions on and off pitch by making commentary help and also by being invited to to participate in different soccer issues, though his death seem to mourn everyone who loves football, but I think the Buyern Munchen adminstrations and fans are at peak of it.
Out football, Gerd had good relationship wih his fellow citizen and participated in some charities event far from endorsing them only.
We will miss you sir.
