He always taught me about history and tolerance, so I stopped by the synagogue he told me so much about to say a prayer for Fredi and for inclusion. This synagogue was destroyed by the Nazis during Kristallnacht, but the next generation rebuilt it right on top of the old brick foundation that you can see in this photo.
